History

In the 20s of the 20th century, D. Antonio González Romera founded "the Casa del Ciclista" in the central street of Marqués de Paradas, Seville. In its beginnings it commercializes the brand GIMSON (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gimson) exclusively for the province. For political problems of that time D. Antonio was imprisoned for a few months. In the vicinity of this house another was established that would compete, and taking advantage of the imprisonment of the founder this company contacted GIMSON and asked him to then take the exclusivity in distribution.
After serving his sentence, D. Antonio found that he had lost the exclusivity of that brand, and then GIMSON proposed that he patent a brand for racing bikes and another for city bikes, and they would manufacture it exclusively.
Thus, the CRONOS brand was registered for racing bikes, and LABOR for city bikes, since these would be used as a means of transport for workers. This model of LABOR bikes was so successful that the name of our company was renamed LABOR, a name which lasts until today, almost 1 century later.
